PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly measure when optical tomographic information is obtained with a living organism as a measuring object.
SOLUTION: A specimen holder 64 which is used as a holding device for a measuring object is formed from a material with optical propagation properties while isotropically scattering near infrared light and fluorescent light. In addition, the specimen holder can be divided into a block 66 and a block 68 on a face containing the axial center. The blocks 66 and 68 are provided with concave portions 66A and 68A, respectively, which match the outer shape and size of the specimen. The specimen is accommodated in such a way that the epidermis is in close contact with a cavity formed by these concave portions. In this way, the specimen is held with the original shape of the specimen and the positions of the internal organs thereof maintained during measurement.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
