<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion separation treatment method and an ion separation treatment apparatus by which ions in water to be treated can simply be separated and also an ion exchange resin can be regenerated without using chemicals such as sodium chloride or hydrochloric acid. <P>SOLUTION: When separating the ions in the water W to be treated using the ion exchange resin 1, the water W to be treated is electrolyzed to obtain alkaline water W1 of pH higher than pK of the ion exchange resin 1 and acid water W2 of pH lower than pK of the ion exchange resin 1, then either one of the alkaline water W1 and the acid water W2 is treated with the ion exchange resin 1 capable of ion separation treatment to separate the ions, and the ion exchange resin 1 after being used for the ion separation treatment is treated with the other one of the alkaline water W1 and the acid water W2 and regenerated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
