PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brace structure in which deformation due to a load hardly occurs as compared with the conventional product and a display stand includes the brace structure. SOLUTION: Auxiliary members 13, 14 have recessed parts 135, 145 and projection parts 136, 146 respectively at bent parts formed by bending plate members. The brace structure 12 is formed by engaging the recessed parts 135 of the auxiliary member 13 with the projection parts 146 of the auxiliary member 14 and the recessed parts 145 of the auxiliary member 14 be engaged with the projection parts 136 of the auxiliary member 13, to join them. Thus, joint parts of the two plate members made stronger. Further, since the auxiliary members 13, 14 which are autonomous respectively are combined, assembly work is facilitated. Since the respective auxiliary members are moved horizontally to join, one of the auxiliary members does not need to be lifted above the other and even when auxiliary members are large, the assembly work is easily performed.
