PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for assisting getting in/out a vehicle to be mounted in a cabin, with which an occupant can place a hand on a stable section to assist the occupant to get in/out the vehicle such as an automobile in which the occupant can get in/out the cabin through a getting in/out port formed with an opening/closing door. SOLUTION: In the vehicle such as an automobile, the occupant can get in/out the cabin through the getting in/out port 12 formed with the opening/closing door. A seal part structure 16 is provided at an opening edge position of the getting in/out port 12 for preventing water from entering the cabin at the time of closing the opening/closing door. A recess 60 on which the occupant can place the hand is formed at a position which is inner the cabin than the seal part structure 16 and on a surface of a seat back 30 on which the occupant can place the hand to facilitate getting in/out the vehicle when the occupant passes through the getting in/out port 12, whereby the occupant can place the hand on the recess 60 to get in/out the vehicle.
