PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which is convenient for a user. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a housing for housing an imaging portion for imaging a subject and outputting image data; a first display portion provided to the housing and having a first display screen turned in a first direction; a second display portion provided to the housing and having a second display screen turned in a second direction different from the first direction; a height detector for detecting the height of the housing from a predetermined surface; and a controller for displaying an image based on the image data output from the imaging portion on at least one of the first display portion and the second display portion, in accordance with the height detected by the height detector.
