<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device for vehicle seats allowing a connecting member and ring member to be easily welded with a mounting bracket. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a connecting device 1 for vehicle seat having a first and second connecting members 2 and 3, a ring member 4 to hold the first and second connecting members 2 and 3 in the direction of a rotary shaft and a mounting bracket 5. The first connecting member 2 has a convex portion 2c and a depressed portion 2d on its outer peripheral rim. The ring member 4 has a ring body covering the outer peripheral surface of the second connecting member 3, a controlling part which controls the second connecting member 3 not to be removed from the first connecting member 2 in the direction of the axis by extending from the ring body toward one side of the second connecting member 3, and an inserting part 4c provided on the depressed part 2d of the first connecting member 2 extending from the ring body. The mounting bracket 5 has a mounting surface 5a facing the outer peripheral surface 2c1 of the convex part 2c of the first connecting member 2 and the outer peripheral surface of the inserting part 4c of the ring member 4.
