<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a customer with an appendage by receiving an input of information on the object in a place different from that of a sales data processor. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal device 20 receives an input of appendage information showing the kind and quantity of the appendage to be added to merchandise, and stores the input appendage information into an IC card 40.
