<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for three-phase inverters, which is excellent in waveform control performance and reduces switching loss and noise. <P>SOLUTION: The controller includes: a command value selector 10 which selects a maximum command value and a minimum command value from first voltage command values of each phase of a three-phase inverter; a maximum value/minimum value detector 21 which detects the maximum value and the minimum value of carriers; subtractors 31 and 32 which detect a difference between the maximum value and the highest command value as a first difference and detect a difference between the minimum value and the lowest command value as a second difference; adders 41 and 42 which add the first difference to the first voltage command value for computing a second voltage command value and adds the second difference to the first voltage command value for computing a third voltage command value; and a selector 50 which selects either the second voltage command value or the third voltage command value so as to generate drive pulses by comparing it with the carriers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
