<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device capable of preventing unauthorized utilization of information. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The information processing device includes: an information acquiring section for acquiring information; a display section; a main power supply unit detachably attached on a device body and supplying power to the device body; an instructing section for giving an instruction of stopping of operation of the device body; a control section for prohibiting the display of the display section in accordance with the instruction from the instructing section and allowing the information acquiring section to start acquiring the information; a cautioning section for cautioning when the main power supply unit is detached during information acquisition; and a sub-power supply unit for supplying power to the cautioning section when the main power supply unit is detached from the device body.
