<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate capable of attaining simplification of a structure and reduction of costs and sufficiently reducing noises generated at the time of operation, and a switch using the light guide plate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The light guide plate 11 for taking light from a light source 17 is formed with a transparent noise-absorbing material, and the switch has a base board 1 having fixed contacts 3, 5, a movable contact 7 arranged on the base board 1, the light guide plate 11 arranged on the movable contact 7, and an adhesive section 9 for fixing the base board 1, the movable contact 7, and the light guide plate 11.
