<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide metal oxide fine particles having low water content and suppressed aggregation of the metal oxide fine particles, metal oxide fine particle dispersion liquid having high transparency with haze by light scattering made low and a molded body having high transparency, excellent heat and humidity resistance and light resistance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The metal oxide fine particle contains at least Ti and has crystallinity. The structure of the crystal includes a rutile type structure, the existing ratio of the rutile type structure in the total particles of the metal oxide fine particles is ≥30%, the water content of the metal oxide fine particles is ≤12 mass% and the sphere equivalent average primary particle diameter of the metal oxide fine particles is 1-10 nm.
