<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus, which carries out a magnetic flocculation method by charging a flocculant and a magnetic powder into wastewater and removing a produced magnetic floc, capable of continuously and efficiently recovering the magnetic powder from sludge with installations simply configured and reusing the recovered magnetic powder. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The flocculant and the magnetic powder are charged into the water to be treated to form the magnetic floc, the floc is magnetically collected to clean the water to be treated, and the sludge produced in parallel and including the magnetic floc is pressurized and sent, heated in a reactor at a high temperature and pressure.
