PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To to reduce demand for the hardware of a generator without giving bad influence on a scanning time or image quality. SOLUTION: The computerized tomographic imaging system 10 includes: a gantry 14, an X-ray source 18 mounted on the gantry 14, a table 16 moving in parallel to the gantry 14, and a processor 22 electrically connected with the gantry 14, the X-ray source 18, and the table 16. The processor 22 obtains a plurality of primary projections of an object at a primary energy level, and obtains a plurality of secondary projections of the object at a secondary energy level. The processor 22 reconstructs the image of the object from the plurality of the primary projections, while it modifies the image to produce a updated image of the object for displaying the object at the secondary energy level.
