The device has a temperature-controlled bypass branch (4bt) with a heat return temperature control device (4tv) reducing volume flow in a heat exchanger branch (4ah) such that a coolant outlet temperature from a heat exchanger (4) e.g. soldered aluminum heat exchanger, does not exceeds an upper heat return temperature threshold of 40 degree Celsius. A differential pressure-controlled bypass branch (4bp) with a differential pressure limiting device (4pv) reduces the flow such that a differential pressure of the exchanger does not exceeds an upper differential pressure threshold of 0.15 bar. An independent claim is also included for a cooling and heating system comprising a cooler bypass-branch.
