<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing door which is high in strength, has a carrying surface, and prevents a half-closed state. <P>SOLUTION: The opening and closing door 5 to be provided on one side wall of a device body includes: an outer panel disposed on the surface side of the device body; and the carrying surface 76 disposed on the reverse side of the outer panel and having a paper passing surface. A door frame opening of the device body for housing the opening and closing door 5 includes: a support part which supports a door mounting bracket 82 of the door 5 so as to be vertically moved; and a lock pin to which a lock mechanism 85 is locked.
