PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type farm implement which facilitates a work on the attachment of a stored speed change lever, when the detached speed change lever is stored. SOLUTION: The walking type farm implement including an engine, a mission case 2 in which a transmission for changing the power of the engine is installed, wheels 4 for traveling the machine frame with a power outputted from the mission case 2, a handle frame 7 upward projecting from the mission case 2, a handle foldably disposed on the upper end portion of the handle frame 7, and a speed change lever 12 for operating the transmission extends the speed change lever 12 from the mission case 2 along the handle frame 7, detachably forming a part or all of the speed change lever 12, and further disposing a speed change lever-storing portion 14 capable of detachably storing the detached speed change lever 12 in one side portion of the handle frame 7.
