PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "a sound field control device" creating better sound field than in the case of only by mode control algorithm, even when there are only a few microphones. SOLUTION: The device includes: a mode control algorithm-executing section for performing control so that a mode amplitude of each mode becomes a predetermined value, according to the mode control algorithm in a frequency domain; an adaptive equalization algorithm execution section for performing control so that a sound field which is equivalent to space including target response characteristics in each microphone position is formed according to the adaptive equalization algorithm. A selection section selects a processing result of the mode control algorithm and the adaptive equalization algorithm for each frequency, and converts the processing result for each frequency to a time domain and outputs the converted processing result to a loudspeaker, based on information showing that, by which algorithm of the mode control algorithm or adaptive equalization algorithm, the control is performed for creation of a better sound field for each frequency.
