<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for joining a carcass ply, which allows simplification of a drum and high accuracy joining by disposing a joint part under the drum together with an aligning part, and which has a high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is the apparatus which butt joins a winding starting end to a winding finishing end of a carcass ply W wound around a cylindrical drum 10, wherein joining parts 15A, 15B joining the ends of the carcass ply W, and aligning parts 16A, 16B aligning the ends of the carcass ply W when joining with the joining parts 15A, 15B, are disposed under the horizontally supported cylindrical drum 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
