<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation support device for properly supporting operation according to recognition condition of a pilot with respect to control instructions by an air traffic controller. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The operation support device includes a response content recognition means recognizing the response content of the pilot with respect to the control instructions by the air traffic controller, and an airframe state obtaining means acquiring an airframe state of an airframe operated by the pilot. The operation support device also includes a target airframe state setting means setting a target airframe state of the airframe based on the response content of the pilot and the airframe state obtained by the airframe state obtaining means, and operation support for the pilot is performed based on the target airframe state set by the target airframe state setting.
