PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily keep an ejection characteristic in an appropriate state even if heat is generated from a drive circuit unit or the like. Ž
SOLUTION: Since a driver IC 52 abuts on a lower reservoir 72 via an elastic member 53, heat from the driver IC 52 is transmitted to the lower reservoir 72 via the elastic member 53 (Fig.2(a)). The temperature of ink in the lower reservoir 72 thus increases so as to have an appropriate ejection characteristic. Meanwhile, if the lower reservoir 72 has a high temperature, a thermostat 60 is actuated to push up a support plate 40. The elastic member 53 is then separated from the lower reservoir 72, making heat from the driver IC 52 less likely to be transmitted to the lower reservoir 72 (Fig.2(b)). This prevents the temperature of the ink in the lower reservoir from excessively increasing. Ž
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
