PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of reflecting composition intentions of photographers in zooming during exposure. SOLUTION: When a first image is obtained after transition to a mode for zooming during exposure, a support image for supporting setting by a user of a second focus distance is displayed on a display monitor 142, thus enabling the user to easily set a range of change in focal length of a photographing lens 101 in zooming during exposure, and hence reflecting the composition intention of the user (photographer) for zooming during exposure to obtain a zoomed image during exposure reflecting the composition intention.
