PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of clathrate hydrate which maintains good dispersibility by suppressing condensation of hydrates in water. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of clathrate hydrate includes the step of cooling a water-drop-in-oil type emulsion containing a substance which is to serve as a guest substance of clathrate hydrate, water, oil and a surfactant with stirring, wherein the water is contained in the emulsion at a specific rate.
