PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving operation support apparatus capable of suitably warning a driver, and to provide an automobile and a method for supporting driving operation. SOLUTION: The driving operation support apparatus includes: an approach degree detection means for detecting an approach degree of its own vehicle to a warning target based on a position of the warning target and a traveling position of the own vehicle; a first warning means for generating a warning when the approach degree detected by the approach degree detection means becomes a predetermined first criterion value or less; a second warning means for generating a warning when the approach degree detected by the approach degree detection means becomes a second criterion value or less, which is smaller than the first criterion value; a warning setting means for setting whether the warning from the first warning means is to be permitted or not; and a criterion correction means which, when the warning setting means sets no permission of the warning from the first warning means, performs correction for approximating the second criterion value to the first criterion value.
