PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical protective film that is suitable particularly for a polarizing plate which is superior in transparency with an optical isotropy, and also has a proper moisture resistance and superior in durability, and further has proper adhesion with respect to polarizing film with hard-coat function, and to provide the polarizing plate which uses the optical protective film. SOLUTION: The optical protective film is a laminated film having a hard coat layer (A), resin layer (B) and adhesive layer (C) laminated, in this order, wherein each layer contains a (meth)acrylate ester based compound at ≥80 mass%. The polarizing plate has a polarizing film laminated so as to contact with the surface of the adhesive layer (C) of the optical protective film. Furthermore, another side of the polarizing film has an adhesive layer (D) and resin layer (E), which are laminated sequentially, and also each of (D) and (E) layers contains the (meth)acrylate ester based compound at ≥80 mass%.
