<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently inhibiting heat transmission from a cylinder head side to an intake pipe. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A stepped portion provided in at least one of a surface of an intake adapter 50 opposed to a cylinder head 12 and a surface of the cylinder head opposed to the intake adapter forms a passage 40 for gas flow provided between the cylinder head and the intake adapter and gas flows through the passage for gas flow, so that warming of the gas itself, which is used for heat insulation, is inhibited.
