<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher having a configuration allowing switching between conduits in a washing nozzle to be performed reliably, saving water, and washing dishes by uniformly discharging washing water. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The washing nozzle 7 discharging the washing water and rotatably supported includes: a plurality of conduits 15 and 16 having discharge openings 19 and 20; a valve element 21 switching the supply of the washing water between the conduits, and moving forward and backward to be linked with the operation of a washing pump 6; and a rotating shaft 14 incorporating the valve element. The valve element 21 pivots by rotating together with the washing nozzle 7 and, at the same time, moving forward and backward with respect to the conduits, to thereby switch the supply of the washing water between the conduits.
