PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing for a main spindle device of a machine tool excellent in maintainability and handleability, in which highly responsive temperature measurement is possible, and a temperature sensor can be easily separated from the bearing, and to provide the main spindle device of the machine tool, and the machine tool. SOLUTION: The main spindle device 20 of the machine tool supports a rotary shaft 22 freely rotatably with respect to an outer cylinder 29, wherein a tool can be attached to the rotary shaft 22. In the front side bearing 60, the temperature sensor 52 is non-adhesively arranged in a vicinity of a contact point p of an outer ring 61 and a ball 63 so as to be freely detached from the bearing 60.
