<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power for a playback device, and to improve the operability thereof, without interrupting playback of a content designated by a user. <P>SOLUTION: According to an audio device 1, a system microcomputer 10 calculates, when an operation part 13 sets a sleep timer function to on, the remaining playback time of a music group designated as a playback target; gradually reduces a playback volume with a passage of playback time based on the calculated playback time; determines the playback volume at each point of time so that a playback volume is silent at the end time of playback; and controls the volume output from an amplification part 21, in accordance with the determined playback volume. When the playback of the designated music group is completed, the system microcomputer 10 cuts off the power supply from a power source part 25 and turns off the power source of the audio device 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
