<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the slaking resistance and hot strength of magnesia chrome bricks using magnesia clinker. <P>SOLUTION: In the magnesia chrome bricks obtained by kneading a fire resistant raw material composition and baking at 1,700°C or higher after forming, the fire resistant raw material composition contains 0.2-1.0 mass% B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0.8 mass% or less CaO and 2.5 mass% or less SiO<SB>2</SB>. The fire resistant raw material composition further comprises a magnesia clinker having a bulk density of 3.20 g/cm<SP>3</SP>or more of 20-80 mass% and a chrome ore of 20-60 mass%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
