<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cap 10 with favorable opening/closing operability for a filler neck FN. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cap 10 has a cap-side catching part 25 protrusively formed at the outer periphery of a casing body 20 and is mounted by being engaged with an opening-side catching part FA by applying the casing body 20 by being inserted into a fuel tank side in a shaft direction through an inserting gap FD of the opening-side catching part FA of the filler neck FN. The cap-side catching part 25 has a catching part 25a, a cap-side stopper 25b, a first guide 25c, and a second guide 25d. The first guide 25c changes a force in the direction of a close body opening to a force in a direction in which the cap-side catching part 25 comes off from the inserting gap FD when an inclining side abuts against an opening-side stopper FC. The second guide 25d has an inclining side which supports the second guide in a rotatable manner while riding on a retaining part FB when the cap-side catching part 25 comes off from the inserting gap FD. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
