<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by a user and to protect the copyright of a broadcasting side by permitting temporary recording/reproducing limited to time-shift recording on a receiving side even for a recording-inhibited program in digital broadcasting. <P>SOLUTION: A digital signal having a control flag as to a temporary copy permission is inputted, and the digital signal is recorded temporarily into a recording medium in accordance with conditions in the control flag, and then reproduced temporarily from the recording medium in accordance with the conditions in the control flag. Recording/reproducing of temporary copy is permitted, depending on the conditions of the recording medium's type, the reproducing time, the reproducing period, and the reproducing frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
