<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security management system capable of managing a target security management device directly. <P>SOLUTION: Communication is made between a microcomputer in a security pack and an in-house computer system through a wireless LAN, and power to be supplied to a notebook computer is controlled from the in-house computer system by password authentication. Leakage of information from the notebook computer body can be prevented without changing the setting of the notebook computer entrusted by a user or installing dedicated software.
