<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector, which is adapted to be connectable to a target connector and releasable from the connection, and a waterproof device using the waterproof connector. <P>SOLUTION: The waterproof connector includes a connector member supporting a ferrule to be butted against a target ferrule disposed in a target connector, the connector member being adapted to be locked to an adapter member by an action of a lock operation portion; an unlocking means supporting the connector member to be freely movable along the butting direction of the ferrule to the target ferrule and being adapted to operate the lock operation portion of the connector member to release the locked state; and a base part supporting the unlocking means to be slidable. When the connection with the target connector is released, the unlocking means is moved away from the connector member, whereby the lock operation portion is operated by the unlocking means to release the locked state, and the connector member is moved away from the adapter member to release the fitting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
