摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling structure of a snap ring for a vehicle wherein the durability is enhanced by relaxing stress concentration on a snap ring fitting groove. <P>SOLUTION: As shown at an E part in Fig. 7, the coupling structure of the snap ring 120 has a gap entirely in the depth direction (direction of an arrow DP in Fig. 7) of an inner circumferential groove 128 between a sidewall surface 138 of the an inner circumferential groove 128 on the side receiving a thrust force F<SB>TH</SB>in the direction of the central axis C and a side surface 140 of the snap ring 120 facing the sidewall surface 138 when the thrust force F<SB>TH</SB>acts on a bearing 112 on the rear wheel side at a pair of opening ends 136 of a transfer case 42 where the inner circumferential groove 128 is broken off so as to be opened in the circumferential direction. Consequently, the thrust force F<SB>TH</SB>does not act directly on the sidewall surface 138 at the opening end 136 because of the gap. Thereby, stress concentration is relaxed at the opening end 136, and durability of the transfer case 42 can be enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
