PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus, method, and program for classification of reputation information, which can classify reputation information for each topic if a related topic is different even if same evaluation representation is included. SOLUTION: The apparatus for classification of reputation information, which classifies reputation information about a predetermined search word from a predetermined document set, acquires, from the predetermined document set, peripheral text containing a sentence including the search word, and zero or more sentence consecutive to the sentence including the search word, extracts reputation information from the acquired peripheral text, clusters the plurality of peripheral texts to classify them into a plurality of clusters, extracts, from each of the classified clusters, a topic word indicating a main topic, and classifies the extracted reputation information in association with the extracted cluster.
