PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid supply device capable of precisely and readily detecting mixing of bubbles in liquid in a pipe member and leakage of liquid from the pipe member, and to provide a liquid droplet ejection device. SOLUTION: This liquid supply device includes an ink supply channel, a supply tube pump that presses the ink supply channel filled with ink and moves a pressing portion from one end side of the ink supply channel toward the other end side thereof so as to transport ink from one end side toward the other end side, a piezoelectric element 184 that is fixed to the circumferential face of the ink supply channel and detects distortion of the ink supply channel under a condition that ink is transported by the supply tube pump so as to output a distortion detection signal, and an abnormality detector 196 that outputs an abnormality signal when the signal level of the distortion detection signal output from the piezoelectric element 184 is lower than a predetermined threshold.
