The device has a basis ontology stand-by unit (2) for providing two basic concepts and a base relation between the two basic concepts. A recording unit (3) is provided for recording an instruction of a return value which is calculated by a computer system. An extraction unit (4) is provided for extracting two extraction concepts and an extraction relationship between the two extraction concepts on the basis of the instruction and the return value. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a method for generating ontology; (2) a computer program product for operating a device; and (3) a data memory for storing a computer program product.
