PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that allows the use of an appropriate antenna group in wireless communication. SOLUTION: A base station 1 includes multiple kinds of antenna groups 11-14 mutually having different communication performance, a QoS acquisition unit 43, an antenna-group selection unit 45, and communication units 35-1 to 35-4. The QoS acquisition unit 43 acquires the QoS about a communication terminal 2 being a communication target from external data. The antenna group selection unit 45 selects the antenna group used in communication with the communication terminal 2 being the communication target from the multiple kinds of antenna groups 11-14 at least on the basis of the QoS. The communication units 35-1 to 35-4 execute wireless communication with the communication terminal 2 being the communication target by using the antenna group selected by the antenna group selection unit 45.
