The hotplate has a frame (2) and an associated mounting frame (3), between which a hob plate (4) is arranged. The frame (2) has a self-tapping screw (7) with the mounting frame (3) connected to it. An independent claim is included for a method to connect a frame with mounting frame of kitchen.
