A compression garment 10 for a canine 12 includes a body portion which is shaped so as to provide a skin tight fit against at least part of the torso of the canine. The garment is formed from a compression material which applies a controlled compressive force. The body portion is preferably tubular and shaped to fit against the thorax and abdomen of the canine. The garment may be designed to fit against other regions of the canine including the neck (14, figure 1), shoulders, posterior (20), and portions of the front 16a, 16b and rear 16c, 16d legs. Also disclosed is a compression garment for the rear of a canine which is shaped to fit against at least part of the pelvic region and at least part of each rear leg of the canine. A method of clothing a canine in a compression garment is described. |
