Cosmetic and/or dermatological composition to treat skin by skin cell rejuvenation using photodynamic therapy technique, comprises chlorophyll or its derivative as photo sensitizing substance. An independent claim is included for a method for cosmetic treatment of the skin comprising applying the composition on the skin and illuminating the composition by a light source having a wave length of 610-650 nm.
