<p>Simulation is performed of a knit fabric that is knitted according to design data in such a manner that individual threads are displayed three-dimensionally. A plurality of nodes(p) that denote thread positions in a fabric loop (111, 112, 143, 144) are obtained per loop; thread cross-sections are disposed with respect to the obtained nodes(p); and the disposed cross-sections are connected to each other at corresponding portions between the cross-sections. Twist between the corresponding portions is detected then, whereupon twist detection, non-corresponding portions between the cross-sections are connected to each other, to modify thereby the connections between the cross-sections. Unnatural thread twist can be eliminated thus in the simulation.</p> |
