The robot has at least one line guidance device (1) at least partly running externally in which lines, hoses or similar are guided. The line guidance device has at least one spatially deflectable section made up of elements (4) with central bodies (5) with a flexible connecting element (6) passing through them, whereby the elements form a channel for accommodating lines, hoses or similar.
