<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cooling rice balls, capable of performing the cooling of the rice balls by cool wind in a relatively short time by performing the cooling of the lower surface of the rice balls effectively. <P>SOLUTION: This method for cooling the formed rice balls is characterized by a cooling them by bringing the lower surface of the rice balls into contact with a cooling bodies 3, 12, or by making the cooling body as a rice ball-conveying means and cooling the conveying means with a cooling means 8. Further, the cooling means is characterized by making it as a rice ball-loading plate 12 of a cooling part 11 for cooling the rice balls 2 and cooling the loading plate 12 by a cooling means 14, and furthermore, the method for cooling the rice balls by blowing cool wind on the surface of the formed rice balls 2 for cooling is characterized by blowing the cool wind on the lower surface of the rice balls 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
