<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution system and a content distribution method capable of reducing a time from a channel switching operation by a user to playback start of content data, as much as possible, while preventing increase of load over a network in a broadcasting type content distribution system, and to provide a terminal device and an operation program for the terminal device. <P>SOLUTION: The broadcasting type content distribution system, where a plurality of channels with each distributing content data in streaming to a user via a network, is configured so that the content data are received in radio communication, until the connection between a terminal device and a device for distributing the content data is completed, afte the user performs channel switching operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
