PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistor-coupling self-scanning type light emitting element array operable by a source voltage of 3 V. SOLUTION: A resistor ladder consists of a pattern of a second n-type layer 12 and rectangular electrodes 72, 73. WL represents a width of a rectangular section 76 of the n-type layer, LL represents a length thereof, WC represents a width of a rectangular section 77 of the n-type layer and LC represents the length thereof. In the above condition, expressions of LL/WL=3 and LC/WC=0.3 are satisfied. By setting the above dimensions, an expression of 0.01<RC/RL<0.15 can be achieved. |
