<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter further excellent both in brilliance and in contrast of red pixel parts, and a diketopyrrolopyrrole-based red pigment composition suitable to obtain the same. <P>SOLUTION: This pigment composition for the color filter comprises 1-10 pts. by mass phthalimide alkylated quinacridone per 100 pts. by mass diketopyrrolopyrrole-based red pigment. The method for producing the pigment composition for the color filter red pixel part comprises solvent salt milling of a diketopyrrolopyrrole-based pigment and a quinacridone-based pigment derivative, where a phthalimide alkylated quinacridone is used as the quinacridone-based pigment derivative in an amount of 1-10 pts. by mass per 100 pts. by mass of the diketopyrrolopyrrole-based red pigment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
