June 21, 1951 [July 6, 1950], No. 14804/51 Class 75(ii) A lighting fitting has a reflector 3 detachably secured to a chassis 1 by a latch 4 depending from a strap 8 which extends across the chassis 1, the latch 4 being urged into its reflector-securing position by a looped-wire spring member 14 which engages the latch 4 and has its ends extending through the strap 8. As shown the latch 4 has curved lugs 10 which allow rocking of the latch 4 on the strap 8 to disengage a latch shoulder 12, against the action of spring member 14, from the edge of a slot 9 in the reflector 3 througr which the latch ex tends. A retaining slot 13 is provided in the latch 4 to house the looped portion of the spring member 14. |
