<p>The method involves signing a digital document (19) by an electronic communication device and adding signature (21) to the document in an optically readable format to produce a signed document (20). The signed document is signed by another electronic communication device, and signature (23) is added to the signed document in the readable format to produce a countersigned document (24). The countersigned document is formatted in a printable format i.e. materialized format (25), assuring optical readability of content of the countersigned document and the signatures independent from each other. An independent claim is also included for a method for processing a digital contract between a signature, a countersignature and a trusted third party.</p> |
