<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal printing ink, which has a good re-printability after stopping metal printing work, and a method of coating using it. <P>SOLUTION: This invention comprises a metal printing ink containing a pigment component, a resin component and a solvent component, wherein the solvent component contains 2-80 mass% hydrocarbon which has an aromatic ring and whose total carbon number is 22-45, and the resin component contains a fatty acid modified polyester resin of 35-65 oil length and/or oil modified alkyd resin. Alternatively, this invention comprises a step of setting a layer of the above-mentioned metal printing ink on a metal base, and a step of setting a varnish layer for a thermosetting overprinting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
